Documents required for marriage registration:
- Passport: A valid passport is required for both the bride and groom to prove their identity and citizenship.
- Divorce Certificate: If either the bride or groom has been previously married and divorced, a divorce certificate must be provided to prove their single status.
- Death Certificate: If either the bride or groom has been previously married and their spouse is deceased, a death certificate must be provided to prove their single status.
During our meeting we prepare:
- Translation: All documents not in Ukrainian must be translated into Ukrainian and certified by a notary.
- Application Form: An application form must be completed by the bride and groom, stating their personal details and intention to marry.
After marriage registration you will get:
- Marriage Certificate: A marriage certificate is issued by the registry office after the marriage ceremony is completed and all required documents are submitted.
- Documents for legalization in another country: Legalization involves having your marriage certificate authenticated by the relevant government authorities in your home country, such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The foreign government or institution will then recognize the document as valid.
